Training animals in protective contact requires you to work in a completely choice based environment. These environments empower your animals through the control they have. The skills that the trainer needs are detailed and rely on their creativity. There isn’t much you can do if an animal decides to leave. In this webinar we will look at what motivation strategies will increase the likelihood the animal will stay and participate.
Other topics include how to train a variety of body positions for health checks, fun behaviours to extend our creativity and what foundation you need working an animal in protective contact? Feeling a bit lost? We will also teach you where to start?
